Faline Chiang was born and raised in Southern California.  Introduced to LID Camp by family in 2013, Faline remains involved because of the wonderful LID Camp family. In addition to being a human megaphone, she brings an energy to LID Camp that sets the standard for counselors. She is determined to help establish a connected community for campers, counselors, staff, and parents alike. A big fan of food in general, her favorite Taiwanese food is stinky tofu. Faline is currently finishing her last year as a Studio Art major with emphasis in Printmaking at California State University of Long Beach.

Kai-En Kyle Chou first attended LID Camp as a camper in 2008 at UCLA, where he met and connected with other Taiwanese Americans in unique ways. Kyle discovered more than just his cultural identity at LID Camp and made everlasting friendships that still stand to this day. As a counselor, he enjoys challenging campers to break out of their own comfort zones and to become confident leaders. Kyle is a 2016 American Studies graduate from California State University of Long Beach and he is proud to be part of the 2017 LID Camp administration. He envisions building camp for campers to have the best opportunity to develop into the next generation of Taiwanese American leaders.
