An acronym for Leadership, Identity, and Development—was founded by first-generation Taiwanese parents to celebrate and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Taiwan for second-generation Taiwanese Americans. Over the years, this mission has expanded to include third, fourth, and future generations.
At LID Camp, we are dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging within the Taiwanese and Taiwanese American community while inspiring a healthy curiosity about Taiwan’s culture and history through engaging workshops and meaningful experiences. Beyond nurturing a strong sense of cultural identity, we focus on cultivating leadership skills, enhancing social aptitude, and empowering participants to become confident role models.
Through a supportive and inclusive environment, LID Camp encourages resilience, effective communication in a diverse world, and teamwork through thoughtfully designed workshops and activities led by our passionate counselors and staff.
