Getting Involved

TACL-LID Camp is not only an enjoyable experience for our campers, but for the counselors and staff too! Through bonding retreats, creative collaboration, and resilient teamwork, counselors and staff make lasting connections and memories. As a counselor/staff member, you will serve as a role model, friend, and source of guidance for campers ranging from 4th to 12th grade. You will be joining a team dedicated to giving back to the Taiwanese American community by fostering leadership skills and instilling confidence in the youth.

Counselors: Bond with a selected group of campers that you will be responsible for, during the duration of camp. Expect tears when you have to part.

Staff: Become an integral part of camp by recording the memories made at camp (media team), setting activities up behind-the-scenes, and lead workshops to teach campers about LID (leadership, identity, development). Expect campers to call you by the wrong name and ask for your shoes.

Staff duties and responsibilities revolve around behind-the-scenes tasks that help to make camp memorable for campers. Setting up for workshops, recording campers fun memories, or providing support are all tasks that are required as a staff member.
