"I decided to be a part of LID Camp because I wanted to push myself to be more proactive in taking on leadership positions. I also wanted to get more involved with the Taiwanese community and meet new people. Having always been a camper, it was a good learning experience being on the other side as a mentor and organizer. I learned to appreciate all the work that went into putting a youth camp together. I enjoyed interacting with the campers and was able to make lasting friendships with the other camp counselors and staff."
